Charactistics and things of interest : Some times called "Acro", Acrocanthosaurus had tall spines [up to 60 cm. (2
feet) tall] on its neck, back and tail which composed a sail of some sort. In
its mouth were 68 knife-like teeth and with a 5' long skull it was a fearsome
predator. Those teeth were 8-9" long (including the root). Armed with more
useful arms than T.rex and 3 fingers instead of 2, if it were around today it
might be able to lift a car! |
