My Name is Felipe A. Elias and I am a biologist who was born in Sao Paulo, Brazil. I work in the education of natural sciences. I also have been doing paleoart works, like sculpture and illustration for some time now. In sculpture I use mainly epoxy resin. For illustrations I use a combination of manual | drawing and digital art. I have now become a specialist in portraying the
prehistoric fauna of my country. Out of the main groups represented in Brazil, my favorites are Dinosauria (especially Spinosauridae, Abelisauridae and Carcharodontosaurinae), Pterosauria (like Tupuxuara, Tapejara, Anhanguera and Thalassodromeus), giant Crocodilians (like Sarcosuchus, Mourasuchus and Purussaurus), | Crurotarsi (like Prestosuchus and Karamuru), "killer birds" (like Paraphysornis
and Phorusrhacos), sabertooth predators (Smilodon and Thylacosmilus) and
finally the giant sloths (like Megatherium and Eremotherium) For some other works of mine, please visit my website (http://www.territoriodosdinossauros.hpg.ig.com.br) Felipe A. Elias | |
