Tuomas Koivurinne a.k.a Noiz

was born in October 1985 in Kangasala, Finland. Soon dinosaurs and animals took control of his young mind.

Drawing started as soon as the pencil could be held in his hand. The first word he learned to write, was `hirmulisko` which in Finnish language means `terrible lizard`.

By using various methods of illustrating, pencils, inks and different kinds of paints and trying new ones, the techniques and styles have changed and developed throughout his life with the evolution of his art continuing.

These days he spends time with his friends and is studying in high school with a specialization in art.

In his free time, Tuomas also illustrates

other subjects. He shares a strange passion for The Great War (1914-1918), displaying his own war tales in the form of comics and illustrations.

Tuomas is also working in U-M Clan, small Finnish Press Company selling comics, posters, original art and clothing. Links to UMC can be found at the artist's own website.
